NOWnNOW is a new concept video communication service that can be used for online conferences, lectures, consultations and various types of meetings among people in multi-locations where Internet access is available.
NOWnNOW provides a realistic atmosphere of a conference room and lecture room for any type of meetings such as conferences, seminars, 1:1 education, remote and distance learning education and in-company broadcasting. Experience NOW a New Open World, NOWnNOW.
To open a video conference room "NOW room", you must log in first and select My Page or from the main page you can select the "Host a NOW Room". Then add the name of the conference room, and create a password for your NOW Room. Finally press the "Host a NOW Room" button to launch your video conference.
* Please set a password for each conference room different from your personal log in password.
This password will be a shared for all participants to join a private conference room.
Public conference rooms do not require a password.
* Please close other web cam programs before starting the NowRoom program.
Participants can only enter the room after the host of the NOW Room has actually opened the new NOW Room meeting. We recommend participants to use their real name when entering the NowRoom so they can easily be identified by other participants during the meeting.
A reservation list allows the host of a NOW Room to disclose the reserved schedule of conferences or meetings in advance to the expected participants or the the general public.
An open list is the meeting session about to begin or already in progress. It shows the NOW Room participants, room number,agenda, subjects and host name. This allows the participants to easily find the NOW Room he or she needs to join.

Regarding equipment such as headsets or web cams etc.
Shipped products must be returned to the address below and the purchaser must pay for all shipping expenses for returned products. A refund is available after products are properly returned and we do not accept returns once the products are used or damaged in any way.
Below are common problems that customers sometimes incur with audio settings.
First, your computer is not equipped with a sound card or a proper driver is not installed for it. A Sound card is mandatory to use the audio function.
To fix this problem, go to Sound, Video and Game controller located in the Device Manager (My computer > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager) to see your current driver status of your PC.
If an exclamation of X mark appears, please delete the current driver and reinstall the proper driver for your device.
Secondly, make sure your headset (speaker and MIC) are properly connected to your sound card.
Thirdly, check the replay and record part in the volume control (bottom right corner, open volume controller).
In the case of replay, if the mute button is marked, you can not hear the voice of the other party.
If the record button is marked and if mute has been selected, the other party won't be able to hear you.
If it has nothing to do with the above mentioned solutions, please contact your sound card manufacturer.
First, check the settings of your sound card. If their is no problem with the sound card setting, confirm that the driver for your sound card has been updated with the latest version.
Go to Control Panel> Sound and Audio device property > Volume control and check if the mute button is selected for MIC volume balance or if the other party is using speakers instead of a headset.
Howling can be excessive if the other party is using a web camera with MIC function. In this case, turn off the MIC function of the web camera. From the sound card setup menu, turn off the stereo mix option and if their is an option for sound effects, please set this as a "soundproofing room".
This is a common problem with an OS conflict and the web cam. It happens more frequently with Windows 98 and ME than Windows XP and 2000. Please reboot the computer to solve the problem.
Below is a possible cause of the problem.
Firstly, all USB devices have to be connected after finishing the installation of the driver. When the driver is registered in the database of the OS, it will automatically assign the device to its driver in the database.
If you are trying to install the driver while the camera is connected to the computer already, it might cause a problem of recognizing the device properly.
In this case, connect the device to the other USB port for recognition, and sometimes you will have to reinstall the driver and reconnect the device after deleting all the OEM#.inf and OEM#.pnf files in INF folder in the Windows folder.
Secondly, confirm your driver status. You can check the status of your driver from Control Panel> System> Hardware> Device Manager> Image Device and if the device is working properly it will show the name of the device as shown in the picture below.
However, a yellow exclamation mark or X mark appears if their is a problem. If the status of the driver is not normal, please reinstall the driver.
Thirdly, check the computer and camera to see that it is properly connected. Confirm your USB port on the computer and USB port on the camera to make sure it is connected properly. It may not be the proper USB type as it depends on the kind of camera.
Select "Not use this device" for the USB audio device from Device Manager if your web cam has a preinstalled MIC function.
Procedure of removing the USB Audio device
¨ç My computer> Properties> Hardware> Device Manager
¨è Click the USB audio device > Properties
¨é Select "Not use this device" from the bottom area of the window and press the confirm button.
Setting is done if you see an X mark in the USB audio device from the Device Manager.
The camera has an option for adjusting the visual display and focusing. Location of this option may vary depending on the camera.
Some cameras do not have this option. Please consult your camera manufacturer to find out how to adjust the video settings.
From NOWnNOW's video control menu you can adjust settings to your preference by controlling the resolution, brightness, contrast, shadows, color balance etc.
The Driver selection window will prompt to ask you which driver is going to be used when you have 2 or more camera drivers.
Choose the correct driver for the camera you want to use and run the program.
This could be caused by an outdated driver from your camera. Please visit your camera's manufacturer's homepage and upgrade your driver with the latest version.
This problem occurs by software conflicts between web cam drivers and or audio drivers and other web cam programs. To avoid this conflict, all other programs must be closed when hosting or attending a Now Room.
